YIK YAK

Explanation: Yik Yak is an app designed to be used on any type of educational campus. After
you download the app, it immediately streams blogs from yakkers around the area. People are
able to make comments and pose questions anonymously and other people are allowed to
respond anonymously. I asked a question about what people thought severe gambling looked
like. A few comments were random, some inappropriate as usual because its anonymous;
however, one person responded to the question personally about gambling and that is exactly
what I needed. Even though a gambling addiction is not substance related, it still does the same
amount of destruction. It was good to get someones perspective on it
