Logs

Pdm_logcvrt uses timestamp information in the first line of each stdlog to adjus
t timestamps, which can differ from server to server in the logs, so that they m
erge in to a consistent sequence. Merging stdlogs from primary and secondary ser
vers can be helpful when you are troubleshooting problems between hosts.
Note: Merging logs containing data from different years produces data that is no
t sorted correctly.
The log command has the following syntax:
UNIX:
sort std* | pdm_cvrt | sort > merged-log
Windows:
type std* | pdm_logcvrt | sort > merged_log
