March 27, 2015 ‘To Whom It May Concern: | am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Kelly-Justin White. Justin taught in my fifth grade classroom during the Fall 2014-2015 school year at Weiss Elementary. Weiss Elementary is a third through fifth grade school comprised of a diverse population of students Justin had a positive, successful experience in my classroom. He performed his teaching duties ina responsible and dependable manner. Some of his res ponsibilies were taking attendance using the Skyward system, attending weekly team meetings, attending monthly staff meetings, Participating in staff development held by our district, and participating in parent-teacher conferences. Justin showed an energetic attitude and maintained a professional appearance and manner. Throughout his experience, Justin’s lessons were well thought out and showed a wide variety of child-centered activities to engage students in learning. | was particularly impressed with his strengths in writing. He planned his lessons well and made personal connections with the students when he modeled the writing process. The students truly enjoyed working with him and for him, Justin made significant growth in all areas from the first week to the final days in my classroom. He asked questions and was very accepting of constructive feedback and applied suggestions readily. Justin has the potential to be a very effective teacher. Justin would be a positive addition to any school.
