To Esther Aribiola and Eliot Williams:

I am seeking the comptroller position for the 2015/2016 academic school year.
As a junior level transfer student at Morgan State University I have recently graduated
with an Associate of Arts degree in Business Studies. At my previous institution I was very
involved with an organization called Enactus. Enactus is a international nonprofit organization
that uses the power entrepreneurial action to help those in need. Instead of donating time or
money we designed ways for people in need to help themselves. I was in charge of our financial
literacy program and I worked closely with the VP of Finance to maintain the annual budget. I
have always been interested in Student Government but never got a chance to apply for a
position. My resume will show that I have worked in numerous fields such as sports
management, admissions recruiting, the restaurant industry, and even sales. I am confident that
my communication, leadership, professionalism, and critical thinking skills will help me prosper.

Financial
Experience

Project Lead for F.L.I.P., Managed and Constructed annual

budgets, T. Rowe Price Internship

Communication

Direct Sales Representative, RVCC Enactus Presentation

Team (two consecutive years)

Management

Team Captain

I feel that I should be recommended for an interview because my ability to learn is my

greatest asset. I am also personable and have worked with all types of people. These
experiences allow me relate to a wide range of personalities. All of my former employers will tell
you that I always go the extra mile to do beyond what is asked of me. My mentor always tells me
to dive for the ball every play and I will bring that mentality to the comptroller position.

Sincerely,
Montana Ricks
