Im truly honored to be recommended by an administrative staff here at Johnson C. Smith
University to get a chance to work with you if asked. As you already know I am taking up
Sport Management with a minor in pre-law in hopes of becoming a successful sport
agent. The work you do is similar in the field I am interested in since you manage not
necessarily athletes but you do represent and consult with well-respected coaches
nationwide. If given the chance to work under you, I could gain not only the exposure
within my field but as well as sharpen my skill sets I have already developed within my
pervious internships and experiences.
I previously worked along side with Johnson C. Smith University Career Center for
Professional Development over the summer. I was given responsibility of capturing the
2013-2014 post graduates opportunities or plans within documents that consist of
Microsoft Word and Excel. I gathered all the data for my supervisors needed to be present
in the Administrative Council meeting to be placed in our yearly catalog. Ive been
placed in positions where I have to take lead among my peers in conferences and as well
as in the classroom dealing with problem solving and public speaking. I volunteer for
many organizations such as the ACC Football championship where I worked more in
customer service side such as directing people to the right places where ACC events were
taken place. I really enjoy volunteering and I get a lot opportunities because of the
organizations I am apart of that do service events within our community.
Ive heard absolutely amazing things about you from my pervious supervisors and
professors because you are well connected nationally. It will truly be an honor to work for
you this spring. You have so much to offer and I am willing to learn all that I can. Your
company is well respected and is beneficial to your clinical. You are influential to young
women who thrive for the top regardless of what is in their way like myself. I look
