It has been my distinct pleasure to work with Courtney Nelson in advanced
math courses here at Shepherd High School. During her time at Shepherd
she has shown herself to be a talented student who can relate in a
meaningful way with fellow students. As a leader in band Courtney has been
able to demonstrate her ability to lead and work with others. Through her
volunteerism she has shown respect for her faculty and community as a
whole.
Courtney has the ability and work ethic necessary to be successful in any
endeavor. She is an organized individual who can take a situation and work
through to an acceptable solution, and when necessary she can work within
a group to help achieve a common goal.
Courtney is an adaptable individual. She can accept constructive criticism
and use given analysis to make adjustments that aid in her success. Her
understanding of differences has helped to make her an effective
communicator.
It is my pleasure to recommend Courtney for any scholarship or award.
