Plan 2:
General Aim:

The client will improve speechreading skills to enhance conversational
fluency and social interactions in daily living situations.

Aim of Lesson:

The client will improve speechreading communication with his wife through
counseling with 70% accuracy.

Materials:
- Prompt cards (pertaining to daily activities)

Procedures:
1. The clinician will begin session by asking the patient and his wife what
their concerns and issues that need to be addressed.
2. The clinician explains what the session will entail.
3. The prompt cards will contain general every topics, such as what do they
think they need to do at a restaurant, strategies.
4. The clinician will counsel the patients wife on how to appropriately
execute facial expressions, body language and clear speech.
5. The clinician will ask client and his wife any additional questions or
concerns they may have.
6. The patient and the wife will schedule a follow-up appointment in two
weeks for a routine hearing aid check- up.
