1. Issue: Lack of respect
a. Showing respect is a way of esteeming others and can demonstrate to others how we
feel about them.
b. Demonstrating how we feel about others shows respect.
2. Issue: Shallow friendships due to social networking sites or not
a. Friendship is a type of relationship between two people who get along well and can
become stronger when they go through hardship together.
b. Going through hardships together strengthens friendships.
3. Issue: Less communication and less interested in each other
a. Family relationships are lifelong connections, for better or for worse, and family
members should do all in their power to cherish them.
b. Cherishing family relationships leads to healthy lifelong connections.
4. Issue: Lack of responsibility of being parents, out of control of children due to external
factors
a. A parenting tip is advice about raising a child and can be used as a point of reference.
b. Advice is just starting point when it comes raising a child.
5. Issue: Differ not only from person to person but also culture to culture
a. Morality is a persons discrimination between right and wrong and a barometer for how
to react to situations considering time, place, and occasion.
b. A good measurement of the right way to react to situations is to rely on personal
morality.
6. Issue: White lies
a. Honesty is a way of gaining the trust of others and remaining true to oneself.
b. Being true to oneself and gaining others trust stems from honesty.
7. Issue: Hard to measure how they are unbiased
a. Integrity is doing right regardless of its consequence and a way of being fair.
b. Unbiased behavior is dependent upon personal integrity.
8. Issue: Increases lawsuits
a. Accountability is accepting responsibility, not making excuses nor blaming others when

things go wrong, and can reveal a persons character.

b. Not making excuses nor blaming others when things go wrong is part of holding
oneself accountable.
