What do you think are the qualities of a successful portfolio?

I believe that a good portfolio should have three qualities. It must be

comprehensive, diverse and represent its writer.
A comprehensive portfolio highlights different moments of its writers life (or course in
our case). The diversity of a portfolio means that it should cover variable subjects to let
the readers have a good idea about how skillful the writer is when writing about two or
more different subjects. A portfolio also should represent its writer, means that every
single thing in it should be true about what the writer believes, and the different
statements and opinions in it should truly represent the writer.
