To Whom It May Concern:
I am excited to present my application to be an
Entrepreneurship/Business Administration Instructor at Fresno City
College. Currently I am an adjunct faculty at Reedley College, teaching
business administration courses. For three years I was an adjunct
faculty in the construction management program at SJVC in Fresno, CA.
Being an adjunct faculty has been very rewarding. I have greatly
enjoyed sharing my experiences and knowledge with my students and
empowering them in a way that prepares them for employment and
life.
Since my time at SJVC I have earned an MBA from CSU Fresno
with the intent of teaching business courses. Currently I am enrolled in
the Community College Faculty Preparation Certificate program
through CSU Sacramento, with a completion date of May 2015. I have
completed the Community College Entrepreneur Pathway Training
offered at CSU Fresno by the Lyles Center for Innovation and
Entrepreneurship. This spring I will also have my Online Faculty
Certification offered by Reedley College.
Being an entrepreneur and business owner has been my life for
the past 15 years. I am a managing partner and part owner of a small
development company in Fresno, CA. Our company owns a self-storage
facility called Pacific Storage and an office complex called Village Walk
Office Suites. Between these two facilities we have two fulltime
employees and 5 part-time employees. Our office complex acts a hub
for entrepreneurial activities. We often have new ventures starting up
out of our complex. The office complex was designed to capture small
businesses in their first stages of growth after moving out of the home.

I also have a California real estate sales person license and a class B
general contractors license.
It is my desire to become a fulltime community college faculty in
the field of Entrepreneurship/Business Administration. I look forward to
discussing the great opportunities that are available as a faculty
member at Fresno City College
