Name of Artifact: Elementary Classroom Observation

Course: EDUC 101: Introduction to Teaching

Brief Description: I sat in Mrs. Sheltons second grade classroom at Riley

Elementary School and observed her and her class.
Rationale: I got to see some of the different instructional strategies that are being
used since I was in school. Also, the technology that is used in the classroom is
new and different to me. The purpose of this observation was to get a feel for the
classroom setting and to see a teacher in action.
