Reflection
Reflection is used to:
Self-evaluate the effectiveness of your learning
Identify good experiences you had
Identify bad experiences you had
Comprehend the reasons for the above
Plan corrective actions where appropriate
Reflective Journal
The reflective journal is a confidential document prepared
by the student and passed to the tutor for comment and
advice. In the journal, the student:
Makes a record of their achievements resulting directly
from some activity.
Reflects on the activity and other similar situations
where the same skills were required.
Identifies strategies for improving their performance for
when the same skills are required again.
In assessing the journal, the tutor will look for evidence of
development of the student's learning ability.
