Dara:

Hi, Ravy. Im fine, thanks. How about you?

Ravy:

Im wonderful. Did you go to visit Angkor Wat last week?

Dara:

Yes, it was wonderful. Have you ever been to Anglor Wat temple?

Ravy:

No, I havent. Would you mind telling me about it?

Dara:

Angkor Wat, which was built in 12.th-13.thcentury. It represents a building project

without few equals in history and it is considered one of the wonders of the world.

Ravy:

Yes, you are right. Please go on.

D:

Angkor Wat is also the pride of the country and a point of national unity in the country.
Khmer kings regard as god whom created completely cities in the honor of themselves
and had endless wars against the rival power such as Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam. I
think we can remember the good things and note the bad ones about the Angkor
civilization.

Ravy:

You are a really good Khmer child because you know our history well. Could you tell
me more?

Dara:

On the other hand, the Angkor Kingdom, the economic pinnacle from which Cambodia
has since had, and it also the time of turmoil, violent war, and setback; even though, it
was despite of conflicts, none of Cambodias regimes dared to remove the temple from
its position at the center of the national flag. You want to call them liberal, communist,
or nationalist, but they always keep Angkor Wat in the center of the flag.

Ravy:

Oh, I would like to say thank for telling me, and your extensive explanation makes me
very interested.
