The first event I chose to experience was the sixth grade night at the museum.

Sixth graders dressed up as historical figures that they researched and then would
speak about the historical figures' life and importance. This was a creative way to
get students engaged in a topic that is stereotypically considered boring.

The Eighth grade inquiry night was another event that I experienced at Lesher. I got
to see students present on topics that they have been working on throughout the
quarter. I really got to see how the different passions of these students drove them
to be successful in many different ways. Some students got very emotional on stage
and that to me showed how much they really cared about their projects. I was
impressed by the research and outcomes of many of the projects. These students
accomplished many outcomes some paintings, many did food, and others did
demonstrations such as Katie and her model Zebra.
