My proposal was created with a large amount of uncertainty about whether I really
wanted to use this as my topic for the whole entire class and that I wasnt just choosing this topic
because I felt like I was out of time. Although this was my initial thought process, I am very
happy with my choice now that it is over. What changed my view was that I actually immersed
myself into the articles and understood what they were saying rather than skimming the article
summary and judging it from there. I went from uncertainty about whether that was what I
wanted to a mere interest then to complete interest and the want to learn more as the project
progressed.

The process of my search was very frustrating because articles on holograms were
surprisingly rare. There was one source that was of no significance to my topic, but I didnt
realize until I was midway taking notes on the article. I still felt it was appropriate to keep in the
paper and project because it served as a dead end and showed how I could pick back up
somewhere else. The other four sources actually provide a lot of information that were
indefinitely used throughout the project.

What mainly surprised me in me research was that holograms were able to make a copy
of a skeletal system. This was the article that peaked my interest and made me want to stick with

this sub topic and research more. This source where I found the fact encouraged me to narrow
my search to this article and learn about it piece by piece.

I found picking and choosing what quotes to put in my essay was the hardest. I had so
much information and facts that it was so hard to narrow down which ones I wanted. It wasnt
very hard to put myself into the paper because I havent done many research papers in the past so
I have mainly done personal writing. When the essay was finally over I felt very happy, not
because it was over but because it was so rewarding to see how all of my processed work built
this paper.

This project has been different from others mainly because we were force to create a
process for our work. I have never had to create such a story line and process leading up to a
final paper before.

I learned that making something that you are really proud of takes a ton of preparation
and notes in order to create your final piece.
