Throughout

my education at San Diego

State University, I have had the
opportunity to become involved in the
Student California Teachers Association
Chapter at SDSU. As President of the 2013-
2014 school year, I had the responsibility
of overseeing board members, planning
weekly meetings, and organizing
philanthropic outreach events for local
elementary schools. As the 2014-2015
credential liaison for this organization, I
acted as the communicator between
credential students and the College of
Education at San Diego State University.
My leadership experience has taught me
how valuable collaboration can be and the
importance a growth mindset holds.
