Technology Plan

TI-Nspire Calculators: The calculators are a very important tool for enhancing
the learning of the students in the Mathematics classroom. The calculators will be
used specifically for section 5-2 which is entitled Solving Systems of Equations
Using Tables, Graphs, and CAS. Students will learn how to use CAS to not only
solve systems, but to develop on the idea of how functions agree with each other at
a point, many points, or no points at all.
Projection System: Though this piece of tech may have a small role in our
classroom, it still fills a big purpose. The projection system will primarily be used
by the teacher to show and solve problems. It can also be used for students to show
their work during discussions.
Mini Whiteboards: Students will use these mini whiteboards primarily for
formative assessments. Whiteboards are a fun way to keep students engaged and
help the teacher view and keep track of how well students understand the material
being presented.
Computers with Connections: Students wont need the computers until we start
working on projects. The primary use of the computers will be to help students

gather information on businesses and the expenses and profits of that business.
There may be little to no math being done on the computers, but it will be helpful
to furthering students mastery of solving equations through their projects.
