1. How did you go about drawing this image? (Did you plan?

Did you use patterns,

reflections of curves? Did you experiment? Did you consult with peers/teacher?)
The main way I did the difficult curves in my drawing was by consulting my peers/teacher. I did
this mostly when I was adding the roof and the hood because the quadratic and cubic functions
were difficult for me to understand.I also used guess and check for the rest of my drawing, trying
out random numbers in my equation until I got one that worked with my drawing.
2. How did using Desmos and creating this drawing help you understand function families
and their transformations? (Be specific and discuss two types of functions and what you
learned about them - for example, discuss how you understand linear and quadratic
functions.)
Using desmos and creating this drawing helped me understand function families and their
transformations because before I did this drawing I barely understood even the simplest
equations such as x=-2 and I had no idea what I was doing. But as I continued my drawing, I
familiarized myself with desmos and function families so in the end I was able to understand
basically all of the equations I used.
