The Faculty Staff Code of Conduct has been created in order to give staff members of
Crosswell Academy the general guidelines of what is accepted and prohibited on school
grounds. Any act of misconduct may be subject to disciplinary action by the Academy. All
faculty & staff are responsible to acknowledge these rules of conduct and other behaviour
standards and abide by these at all times. It is the policy of Crosswell Academy not to
discriminate against anyone based on race, color, gender identity or expression, religion,
national origin, age and sexual orientation in its educational programs and activities. The
purpose of such is to maintain a harassment free environment, which is also required as
stated in the Habboon Way.

Expectations of Faculty & Staff

Its expected as a member of Crosswell Academys finest staff team, Faculty and staff
members are expected to work and administer with professionalism and order. To maintain
this work ethic, members are required or mandated to read this document and project its
characteristics and mannerisms within the educational environment.
Faculty are Educators and teachers that work within various subject faculties, such as
English and Science.
Staff are Support Staff and other members that help around and within the school.
Wired
All doors of classrooms in the main room can be opened by standing on the staff group gates
adjacent to them. This function works via wired furniture. If you wish to open the door for any
students, a staff member must first stand on the group gate, and wait a few seconds for the
area gate to open. Once students are inside/outside, and you steff off, the gate will shut. If
you walk straight through the gate, the door will remain open and mess up the wired.
(However, this may be easier fixed by walking straight outside again, or getting someone with
rights to assist you).
Activity
As a teacher at Crosswell Academy, you are obligated to teach a minimum of 3 classes of
week. If you are also inactive for more than 7 days on Habboon, you will be highlighted in our
database as so, and you are risking being completely dismissed from the academy. If you are
aware that you will be on leave, or not as active as possible in a certain period of time, we ask
that you take a few minutes to explain yourself in the form
here
, at least
two days
in advance,
or
five days
for resignation.
Teaching a class
Your class(es) must go for about 10 - 20 minutes long. As a full time, you are permitted to
hold a class without the supervision of an executive leader and/or coordinator of your faculty.
Please be aware that if you are going to teach a class, you have organised a schedule that you
will not have to go AFK in the middle of it.

Class rules
Keep in mind that members are expected to treat everyone else with respect, including
students, yourself, and your colleagues, and this act should be corresponding. If a student is
constantly misbehaving in your class, you are to give them THREE warnings.
For a mild act of misconduct:
1st - Verbal warning
2nd - Verbal warning to readdress their behaviour
3rd - 10 minute detention in a muted room
4th - Beta
form to be issued on suspension for 24 hours.
For a strong act of misconduct:
1st - Verbal warning
2nd - 10 minute detention in a muted room
3rd - Beta form to be issued on suspension for 24 hours.
For a severe act of misconduct:
1st - 10 minute detention in a muted room
2nd - Beta form to be issued on suspension for 48 hours.
3rd - Beta form to be issued on expulsion.
Suspensions & Expulsions
Please review the
Student Code of Conduct
and request to suspend or expel a student

through
this
form, along with the Executive Department and Administrative Department.
Homework
As we have a wide range of different in real life aged role-players Crosswell Academy, it is
believed that majority people will not be interested or have enough time to complete online
homework, whilst already struggling with real life issues. Therefore, there are to be only given
roleplay
homework to students who wish to be involved with this activity, with a catch.
Please
view this sub-heading again in the next few days/weeks from now, as it will be edited
furthermore.

Education & Educators

As an educator, its your job to uphold the moral values of teaching, educating and
empowering your class and your students. In doing these things, there would be some
persons that hinder and attempt to hinder your class.
Teach
To teach is a powerful element needed to administer a lesson within a classroom
environment. Teaching is not educating, but it means to transfer information to your class and
students through methods of questioning, activities and discussions. These methods would
allow for a swift and positive teaching lesson.

Educate
To educate to acknowledge information already presented and given, through the process of
reviewing. Education is not teaching, but it means to review and respond differently to your
class and students, after teaching. Educating, through the methods of reviewing the work or
lesson from before. This method would allow for the students to retain the information given.

Empower
To empower is one of the easiest principles. Empowering students and your class to rise
above whats expected is different. It takes a discipline and a skill of pointing out
characteristics in a students that can exceed the barrier or limit. Which means, educators are
expected to reinforce and encourage their students, while mentally pointing out students that
exceed the limit.

These teaching methods serve as a basis for administering a lesson, educating and
empowering students.
You are a teacher, you are an educator, you are an empowerer.

- Nise Kairos, Chancellor & Founder of Crosswell Academy

Educators & Staff Assessment and Evaluation

Evaluation. Trials educators and staff will be expected to follow the rules and be prepared to
accomplish their trials with the right tools.

designated faculty to supervise your class. i.e. You are an English tria. You may either have
any Executive Leader or the English Coordinator to supervise your trial class. Your class must

supervisor will give you your results, whether you have passed or not. There are three results:
