1. La Casa Dorada
It was built in 1903 by merchant Moses tarijefio Custom Knives to
Italian architects Miguel and Antonio Camponovo. The upstairs

2. National Museum of Paleontology.

and metal, vestiges of cultures that inhabited the Tarija Basin. Fossil

of the armadillo.

5. The Valley of the Condors
In the Cordillera del Pavilion, 60 kilometers
from the city of Tarija, is the Valley of the
vCondors, a natural sanctuary in which is one

a lake, however, in the early Quaternary an earthquake caused a
fissure that gave rise to the Angostuta Canyon.
