(or manufacturing/supply

process) represents the hard elements of the


manufacturing and supply systems, including the
machines, transportation and storage equipment and
the other facilities required to support the
manufacturing and supply process. This also describes
the flow of materials through the system.
The human and organizational architecture represents
the organizational structure and the interactions of the
employees within the manufacturing and supply
system,
including their roles, responsibilities, and tasks.
The information and control architecture represents
the planning and control functions of the
manufacturing and supply system and the processes
involved in decision
making. This also describes the flow of data and
