therapy. It usually takes 2-3 years to complete. Students
in the physical therapy programs study things like human
anatomy, biomechanics, musculoskeletal system
pathology and neurological dysfunction management.
The median pay for a physical therapist as of 2014 is

estimated around $82,390 a year.

JOB OUTLOOK FOR THE FUTURE


There is a bright future for the jobs of physical therapists.

They are wanted by the patients and clients. There are


many different types of conditions so there is a big
demand for physical therapists.
Employment for the job is expected to increase faster

than average.
There is about 6 to 10 therapists that work in an office or

hospital

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical therapists usually work in offices, hospitals,

outpatient clinics, private offices, home health agencies,


schools, sports and fitness facilities, and skilled nursing
facilities.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A physical therapist makes $38.39 per hour.
Physical therapists are sometimes referred as PTs.
They help injured or ill people get back to their normal

selves. They try to help rehabilitate them and give them


the treatments they need.
