Class Rank 102 of 637
Worst Grade: D in Pre- AP English

Best Grade: A+ in Economics
I would say that my four-year transcripts do not represent my full capabilities today,
however in the beginning of high school I did not completely understand the point of getting
straight As and the impact my grades would have on me in the future. I guess you could say I
lacked motivation to try my hardest. Today I am much more disciplined, organized and
insightful on the purpose of striving to fulfill my full potential.
I am most proud of my grade in Economics. In the beginning of the year I did not like
talking about politics at all. By the end of the semester I had a better understanding of how our
economy works and the importance of staying informed and interested. I am proud of my grade
because I gave the class a chance and actually ended up learning a lot and having fun too. The
grade I am not proud of is my Pre- Ap English grade. My second semester I got a D and had to
make it up in zero period Upgrade Lab. I got such a bad grade due to lack of effort in reading the
book that our final was on. I used to hate reading, but since then have learned to appreciate
books for all they have to offer. While I am still not a fan of teacher assigned books, I should
have tried harder to achieve a grade that would truly show my capabilities.
The class I would retake would either be Marine Biology or Economics/ Government.
This is not because I got bad grades in either, but because I learned so much in these classes and
they were so enjoyable. My attendance reveals that I am gone often for events but they are
always excused. It also reveals that I am late occasionally. Overall my attendance shows that I
am present 98% of the time.
I am fairly happy with my grades, however I wish I wouldve understood the importance
of my grades earlier in high school.
