ACT I
Background: Fire crackles

Background: Fire crackles and a clock is


ticking

Background: The phone beeps as Victor


dials the number
Background: Apple lock screen sound as
victor turns off his phone

CU: Shot of a fire burning. The shot is


underexposed and dark.
CU: victor Cranbury looks into the
camera, unemotional
Over the shoulder: Cranbury looking at
a lab report with a giant red plus sign on
it.
Close up roaming shot: Camera moves
along the walls of Cranburys house. The
walls are blank with few pictures and a
dollar bill framed on the wall. There are
also newspapers on the wall about his
very profitable drilling industry.
Waist shot: Victor holding the lab report
in his hand holding it over the fire.
CU: Victor pulls out his phone
Over the Shoulder: Victor begins to
dial a number
CU: Victor looks at his phone as he dials
but hangs and sighs
Over the shoulder: Victor turns off his
phone and puts it in his pocket.

ACT II
Wideshot: Cranbury walks on his private
dock
Cranbury: Get off my dock you crazy
kids!

Close Up: Cranbury looks into the water


and his face is reflected back at him
Over the shoulder: Cranbury looks out
from the dock and sees some young
people riding on a boat. Cranbury shakes
his fist at the kids and yells at him.

Fade to:
Background: Ringing noise as Victor
stares blankly at the doctor

Wideshot: Cranbury sits in a doctors


office. His doctor sits across from him and
babbles on inaudibly

Background: Scratching of the pen as


Victor writes the check

Over the shoulder: Cranbury takes out a


pen from his pocket and begins to write a
check for a substantial amount of money
Close up: Cranbury slides the check
across the desk to the doctor
Fade to
Wideshot: Cranbury walks on a sidewalk
towards the camera

Background: Cranbury knocks on the


door
Woman: John does not want to see you. I
think it would be better if you just left

Over the shoulder: Cranbury knocks on a


door and a woman opens the door
Close up: Woman yells at Cranbury
wanting him to leave
Close up: Cranbury looks utterly defeated
as he walks off the porch off the house
and back into the streets
Cut to

Cranbury stares into the window

Close Up: Revolver sits in the window

ACT III
Over the shoulder: Cranbury looks at the
doctors report once again.
Close up: The red lettering on the report
begins to blur
Wideshot: Cranbury sits up from his chair
and topples over a nearby lamp
Background: Smashing sounds as victor
tears apart his house

Wideshot: Cranbury tears down the


paintings and newspaper articles from
the walls and smashes his dishes

Close up: The revolver falls off the
counter and onto the floor
Close up: Cranbury leans down to pick up
the gun when he notices a drawing laying
on the floor
Close up: A kids drawing lays on the
floor. It is a picture that his son drew of
Victor. The signature at the bottom reads
Johnny
Close up: Victor begins to sob as he holds
the picture in front of him
Background: Bang as the gun goes off
Fade to Black
