Students are to put salt and ice in the gallon bag. They are
to record the temperature of the ice prior to the salt being
added. Then carefully measure out the amount of sugar,
milk, heaving whipping cream, and vanilla that was to be
added together in the quart size baggie. They were to then
get the gallon baggies air tight with the quart size inside
and begin flipping the bag while switch partners within the
group to notice the intense decrease in temperature. Flip
the bag with ice and ingredients until the time reaches 5
minutes. Then the ice cream should have changed states,
and students are to record the temperature of the ice and
salt mixture in the gallon bag after removing the bag with
ice cream.
