ABSTRACT

Working Motivation and Nurse Performance with Patient Satisfaction Toward
Nursing Service in RSUD of Muna in 2014. (Adviced by Mubarak and Abdul
Kadir Bahar) +xii+75 Pages+19 Tables+12 Appendixes.
Based on the former survey, 10 patient in of inpatient of RSUD of Muna using
interview method that the reaction of patients satisfaction toward nurse performance
were 3 (30%) respondent were satisfied, 7 (70%) respondent were not satisfied. This
research is aimed to explain the relationship between nurse motivation and
performance with patients satisfaction in RSUD of Muna in 2014 using cross
sectional design, nurse sample were 57 respondent using total sampling, patient and
nurse sample using 1:1 ratio. The result of the research, respondent (nurses) state low
motivation 21 persons (36,8%), state enough motivation 36 persons (63,2%).
Respondent (nurses) who have low performance 32 persons (56,1%), who have
enough performance were 25 persons (43,9%). The respondent (patient) state not
satisfied 22 persons (38,6%), state satisfied 35 persons (61,4%). The result of chisquare test shows relationship between working motivation with the patient
satisfaction in RSUD of Muna in 2014 with p value= 0,001, and there were a
relationship between nurse performance and patient satisfaction with p value= 0,002.
Its concluded that there are relationship between nurse working motivation and
performance with patient satisfaction in RSUD of Muna in 2014. Its expected that
the next researcher who conduct a research toward the patient satisfaction to be able
to do research in other variables which affect the patients satisfaction which are not
examined yet in this research.
