Thinking Out Loud Ed Sheeran Amy Wadge

Ed Sheeran poetically shows how strong his love can be in the song Thinking Out Loud.
This song is saying that no matter how old he gets and no matter how much things may change,
his love for her will not. Through out the song as hes just speaking his mind to his significant
other or close friend, he comes to the conclusion that what they have together just may be true
love. As he is looking back to all of the time they have spent together, he is realizing that they
stumbled upon this crazy once in a life time thing called love.
Ed Sheeran and Amy Wadge proved a beautiful song can be written in just twenty
minutes. Amy wrote part of this song when thinking about her friend Ed. Her voice behind the
song tells the kind of person Ed is. She implies that Ed is still the same loveable boy at twenty
three that he was at seventeen. This song represents Ed Sheerans loving and humble personality.
He is saying that he will love a girl for who she is forever. He portrays a love that is more than a
pretty face and a good time. Ed describes a love beyond that, a love that lasts and a love that is
meaningful.
[Pre-Chorus 1]
People fall in love in mysterious ways
Maybe just the touch of a hand
Well me, I fall in love with you every single day
I just wanna tell you I am
[Chorus]
So honey, now, take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart, I'm thinking out loud
And maybe we found love right where we are
If I Aint Got You Alecia Keyes. Performed by Alecia Keyes and Maroon 5
At one point in everyones life, they meet that one person that suddenly makes everything
else seem meaningless. If I Aint Got You shows that if you meet the right person you wont find
a need for the materialistic things in life. The speaker in this song is simply saying that she
doesnt want anything else in life than to be with the person she loves. She could be given the
whole world on a platter but yet it just wouldnt mean a thing if she had to live with out her
significant other. Life isnt about the materialistic things because happiness can not be bought
nor can love. If I Aint Got You tells about how true love is portrayed and also describes a
touching moral.

When writing this song Alecias intentions werent just for a love song. To her, the song
is also about a close friendship of hers. After losing a close friend, Alecia wrote this beautiful
song and it helped her realize the important things in life. The lyrics she wrote made everything
clear to her what matters and what doesnt. To her the song described how the physical things
dont matter when the one she loves isnt there, whether it is a friend or a significant other.
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you, baby
If I ain't got you, baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, yeah

I Dont Dance Lee Brice

The man portrayed in this song is head over heals in love. Hes the man that doesnt
know right from left when it comes to getting up in front of people to dance. However the
speaker depicts a love for his woman so strong that he gets up to dance with her anyway.
Although it is a simple act, it is a most meaningful act to both of them in the relationship. This
song beautifully describes how the ones we love can get us to overcome our fears. In this songs
case, it was dancing. The man is saying that dancing isnt his thing, but yet he is out on the dance
floor spinning this girl around with out a care in the world. He doesnt care how stupid he looks
or how embarrassed he is, because the girl he is dancing with blinds all of the uneasiness from
his eyes.
Lee Brice is known as a tough guy and he has always thought of himself in that way. He
knew his wife thought of him that way too and the lyrics in this song were his way of telling her
Look I dont dance but I love you so much that Ill dance with you anytime. In this song he
sings about dancing but the meaning behind it isnt just about dancing. He is saying that he will
do anything with her. Lee Brice is implying that she is his weak spot through out his rough core.

I dont dance, But here I am

Spinning you around and around in circles

It Aint my style, but I dont care
Id do anything with you anywhere
Yes, you got me in the palm of your hand
Cause, I dont dance

Jealous Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas writes a song portraying an ugly emotion to feel but meaningful at that.
Jealous is a song describing most relationships. Both men and women experience jealousy and in
the song he is saying that it doesnt matter if you are already together or even if you are married,
jealousy is still felt during certain circumstances. Nick Jonass lyrics show that jealousy can
mean you care but it can also turn someone ugly. However, in this song he handles it in a way
that doesnt make him a psycho partner in a relationship. Many can learn from this song. It lets
listeners know that jealousy is common and everyone can feel it, but its how you handle it that
matters.
Nick Jonass song Jealous comes from a real experience. The experience sparked him to
write a song about how he was feeling at that time. However the meaning behind the song
describes how jealousy is a very human thing and even in happy relationships it can happen.
However in the end, sometimes the things that trigger the emotion are all in your head. Nick
Jonas chose the topic of jealousy not just because of his feelings but the whole worlds feelings
and how they can relate to the lyrics describing his emotions at the time.
I turn my chin music up
And I'm puffing my chest
I'm getting red in the face
You can call me obsessed
Its not your fault that they hover
I mean no disrespect
It's my right to be hellish
I still get jealous

Problem Ariana Grande

Problem is a song about being released and happy. The lyrics in the song talk about how
the speaker is so much less stressed with out another person holding her back. Whether that

person be a friend or a boyfriend, she is much happier with out them. The song Problem shows
that you are better off with out some people in your life. The song teaches the listener to let go of
the people holding you back in life.
Ariana Grandes meaning behind the song Problem is about being absolutely terrified
to re-approach a relationship that has gone sour. She is saying that she likes this person but the
man is causing so many problems in her life that it would be better to let him go. This song goes
back and forth about deciding whether to get back with an ex lover.
Hey baby, even though I hate ya
I wanna love ya, I want you
And even though I can't forgive ya
I really want to, I want you
Tell me, tell me, baby
Why can't you leave me?
Cause even though I shouldn't want it
I gotta have it, I want you
[Hook: Big Sean & Ariana Grande]
One less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
I got one less problem without ya
(I got one less, one less problem)

Luke Bryan - Too Damn Young

Young love is the heartbreaker for most teenagers. They do not care about the risks they
take because they seem to forget about the consequences. When the speaker is with a significant
other the outside world doesnt seem to matter to either of them. Both do not care about anyone
else but themselves and they will follow each other anywhere. The speaker has fallen into his
first love and has his heart broken. However, he does not interpret this as a bad thing, but he
looks at it as memories that will never be forgotten and that remind him of a happy time.
Luke Bryan writes of a summer love that ended but will never be forgotten. They both
thought they could stay in paradise forever because they were young and nave. The teenagers
thought they were in love, but their love had and expiration date that they were too blind to see.
Most of the teenage population can relate to having a summer romance at one point in their lives.

They are some of the best, but most never seem to last. This connects with people, about the
person that you saw the brightest future with, but you still let him or her slip away.
Every time my feet are dangling in the water
I can't help but think about her
Lying there with her wet hair
Didn't know what we were doing but we didn't care
That old wooden dock was warm on our backs
T-shirt for a pillow and just like that
She kissed me like she meant forever
We were too damn young to know any be

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis - Same Love

Stereotypes have a way to make our perspective on things incorrect. We want people to
live their lives the way society names the right way. We tend to forget that people cant just
change because they are told to, nor would they want to change. Everyones version of happiness
is different and a person shouldnt be asked to change that. Sometimes we are numb to what we
say and we think that it will not sting the people around us. Equality is something that needs to
be embraced and not twisted into something it isnt.
The writer wants people to accept each other for who they are. He is saying it doesnt
matter if you are gay or straight. This song is mainly about equality and acceptance about same
gender relationships. Everyone has the right to be their own person with their own personality
and desires. We must break down our social barriers that have been created and learn acceptance
for all people in this world.
If I was gay I would think hip-hop hates me
Have you read the YouTube comments lately?
"Man, that's gay" gets dropped on the daily
We've become so numb to what we're saying
Our culture founded from oppression
Yet we don't have acceptance for 'em
Call each other faggots
Behind the keys of a message board

A word rooted in hate

Jack and Diane - John Mellencamp

Everyone must grow up at some point in time. Through out the song of Jack and Diane,
the lyrics go through two lives of a boy and a girl that seem to find each other and stick. Jack is
the star football player while Diane is the popular girl that everyone wants to be. Once the song
progresses, it continues to show how they grew up with each other and plan to be together
forever. It shows how the innocence of being young can have a an effect on how we look at the
future. These years symbolized something that was much simpler and the way some barely had a
care in the world.
John is talking about kids growing up and missing the boring things that were once their
daily life. The song wants to treasure the gift of being young because one day we will grow up
and wish we did things differently. It also shows that relationships should be cherished when we
are young. We must all enjoy the simplicity of youth because life never slows down, and one day
we will be old reminiscing on the young.
Oh yeah life goes on
Long after the thrill of livin' is gone
Oh yeah say life goes on
Long after the thrill of livin' is gone

Gonna let it rock

Let it roll
Let the Bible belt come down
And save my soul
Hold on to sixteen as long as you can
Changes come around real soon
Make us women and men

True Love Pink

This song is light hearted and relatable to many couples who have been in it for the long
run. The lyrics portray a relationship full of not only love but many difficulties. True Love
shows that not every relationship is perfect and it isnt always like the love in the movies. The
lyrics in this song show the relatable and common emotion in relationships where sometimes you

just want to punch them youre so upset, but yet you love them so much you cant bring yourself
to do it. No matter how annoyed you are of your significant other this song describes the feeling
you get when your about to explode but then you realize how much you care for that person.
Pink wrote this song about her husband. Although they have problems her lyrics imply
that they work through them. Pinks song is lyrically funny and honest. The meaning behind her
song proves that no one can push your buttons like your partner can. Pink writes a song that
shows the love you have someone trumps the problems and difficulties they cause you on the
daily sometime. Pinks lyrics describe real life love stories in a hilarious and truthful way.
Sometimes I hate every single stupid word you say
Sometimes I wanna slap you in your whole face
There's no one quite like you
You push all my buttons down
I know life would suck without you
[Pre-Chorus]
At the same time, I wanna hug you
I wanna wrap my hands around your neck
You're an asshole but I love you
And you make me so mad I ask myself
Why I'm still here, or where could I go
You're the only love I've ever known
But I hate you, I really hate you
So much, I think it must be
[Chorus]
True love, true love

Nobodys Perfect - Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus

The lyrics in this song tell a life lesson that everyone needs to remember during hard
times. Nobody is perfect and nobody ever will be. Sometimes we are expected a lot out of and
are put under a lot of pressure which stresses everyone out even more, but even if we mess up it
is okay. The world will not come to an end if you make a mistake. It doesnt matter if it was the
biggest mistake of your life or if you are just making a mountain out of a mole hill, life goes on

and it is in the human nature to screw up. This song gives a message of never giving up if you
are knocked down and accepting failure but handling it positively.
This song was originally meant for young girls but can be listened to by people of any
age or gender. This song is what can give someone the motivation to keep going when times are
tough. Nobodys Perfect describes a message that lets listeners know to stand up when they fall
down. It is okay to mess up but you must rise from the occasion after it happens.
Everybody makes mistakes
Everybody has those days
Everybody knows what, what? I'm talking about
Everybody gets that way
Nobody's perfect
I got to work it
Again and again
Til I get it right
Nobody's perfect
You live and you learn it
And if I mess it up sometimes
Nobody's perfect
