Counselors must be positive role models. They must be there for their patient at any cost no
matter what. Professional counselors should have the skills that fit perfectly for the job. Those
skills include communication, interpersonal, sympathy, listening, judgement, and decision
making skills. My strengths are listening, communication, sympathy and decision making. My
strengths will bring me into this job successfully.
This job perfectly fits me because I have a deep passion in helping not only married people, but
students in school, teenage couples, and older couples who are not married as well. Whenever
people have a problem I always seem to come up with the right answers that want to hear. I am
fully committed and determined to advocate for couples facing hard times. I believe every
couple can find a path to a successful relationship.
