Overtheyearsasthetechnologydramaticallyincreased,ithasbeenincorporatedinto
almosteverything.Technologyhasgottentothepointwhereitisconsidertobeusedinto
modifyingwhatpeopleeatandmuchmoreimportantthepeoplethemselveshavehadthisideaof
beingmodified.Thereisalimitwheretechnologyshouldnotbeusedtomodifypeoplecould
causeofmanyunknownsideeffectsthatcouldcomefromthegeneticmodification.
Forone,geneticmodificationcouldhavethesesideeffectsthatcouldonlybebroughtup
throughgenerationsandgenerations,sostudieswouldnotbeabletocomeuptillthetime
passed.InarticlefromHealthResearchFundingitexplainedhowgeneticallymodifyingpeople
couldgobadlyandcausethesenastysideeffects.Aswellasmakingitharderforthepeople
otherthantherichcouldnotaffordtheadvancement.
Manywouldarguethatfromasmanynegativesideeffectstherearealsothesegoodside
effects.Although,thisgoesfartherjustthanwhatpeoplewouldrathergiveuporputindanger
forthisdeepthirstforchangeandimprovementtothehumanrace.Foroneitiscompletely
unethicaltocustomizeababyinfactitdecreasesindividualismwheresomeofthemost
intelligentpeoplehavecomefrom.
Inconclusion,geneticengineeringthatcouldaffectthehumanraceistooriskytogoas
farastogeneticallymodifyalittlehumanbeingormuchlessafetusinthefuture.Atthispoint
thereissomanythingsoneshouldimproveandinnovatebuthumangeneticengineeringshould
notbeoneofthem.HumanGeneticEngineeringshouldbeuseinthemostmorallycorrectways
withoutitinterferingwiththehumanbeingspecies.
