I am writing this letter on behalf of a student I have had the privilege of having in my art class this year at
Merced High School. Julissa Gonzalez has proven to be a young woman of remarkable talents. Julissa has
gone to great lengths to produce very successful art projects in my classroom. She has become such a staple
for the classroom with her upbeat personality and energy.
Julisas personal experiences and endeavors in her school work will make her a great candidate for your
program. Julisa has demonstrated maturity with her time management skills and hard work ethic. Julissa has
been involved in both M.E.C.H.A and FFA at Merced High School. She has donated a lot of her time to
philanthropic events in both clubs at MHS. She has also donated a lot of her time helping with Birney
Elementary school helping organize their school events.
Julissa plans to attend MJC next year to receive her AA. Julissa then plans to transfer to a CSU to receive her
Bachelors in Veterinary Science. She plans on being a Veterinary Technician to help with animals.
Julissa will excel in anything she pursues because she has the passion and the drive to become successful in
things she loves. She can be depended upon by her employer because she has a strong work ethic and is a
very trustworthy person. She possesses the kind of commitment to excellence which can only result in both
personal and professional success. I give you my highest recommendation and encourage you to give her your
most serious consideration.
