January 7, 2015, Keith Slaght, Service Manager KIA of Lansing, 5737 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Lansing, Ml 48911 Dear Mr. Slaght: Thank you so much for taking the time to introduce me to your wonderful world. ! Thought | knew pretty well what you did with your time working in a shop, however it was a real eye-opener when | personally was able to watch you multitask through all the different things you do in a day. | came to realize and truly appreciate how much time and energy you use in performing one day's list of work activities. |lam impressed and somewhat surprised that you can maintain such a positive attitude with so much on your plate. | appreciate you guys letting me come out there just to show me how it really feels to be out there doing automotive repair. While working with Chris, | was able to experience what the job might be like in a real life scenario, which gives me a different perspective other than going into a lab at school and working on school owned cars. It was also really cool to simply look around the place and check out all the new cars. nthe time | spent with my hast Chris, | had the tremendous opportunity to learn a lot of new things like how to do alignments and how to replace a MacPherson strut. This job shadow experience was incredible, Thank you again for allowing me to disturb your routine in order to provide me such a valuable experience. Automotive technology is not an easy field of study but truly love the challenge. | certainly will include this job shadowing experience at the top of my list of ‘experiences so far in this field and I would love to look into any future job possibilities with your company. Sincerely, Ya Hasan W. Abbas Eaton RESA Auto Technology Student.
