To find out my mystery mineral I used the steps of the scientific method.

First, I examined it, and it was very light, like a feather.

I also noticed that it had a very smooth texture, and that it was very
interesting because it had some bumps, but was still smooth.

One last thing, I noticed is that little pieces were falling off when you picked
it up.

So, I tried writing with it because a partner said it might be lead.

Then I said it was graphite, so I wrote with it, and it worked.

My mineral was either Graphite or Galena because when we did some tests
most things were similar to Graphite, but not so much to Galena.

For the most part, I found streak helped me identify my mineral the most
because when I did mine it was easy as that, but when I did my partners, it
was a little hard to do that.

That is when I made a hypothesis what is easy to write with? and then it
came!

In conclusion, I found out that mystery mineral is Graphite and I was
