Guidelines for submission of abstracts for poster presentation

Abstracts could be on empirical studies, case studies, and case series, with a word
limit of 250.
2. Use Times New Roman font, 12 pt, double space uniformly. Unless specified, follow left
alignment
3. First line of the abstract should have this statement: Abstract submitted to the National
Conference on Motherhood and Mental Health-2015.
4. Second line should have a clear title in the centre, written in plain text, with a word limit
of 20. Only the first word of the title and of the subtitle and proper nouns are capitalized.
5. The title is followed by list of all authors in the next line, centre alignment. Names
include only surnames followed by initials, with affiliations indicated by superscript
numerals; presenting author is identified by asterisk mark (e.g. Chandra, P.,1 Desai, G.,1
& Reddy, P.2*)
6. Next line will have the term Abstract in the centre
7. Body of the abstract can have the following subheadings:
a) Background, Aims/Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion (for empirical studies)
b) Background, Case description and Discussion (for case reports/ case series)
8. Next subheading is affiliation under which affiliation of each author is given (e.g. 1
Designation, Department, Institute, Place)
9. Lastly, mention the address, phone number, and email of the presenting author
10. Please do not send poster until abstract is confirmed.
11. Last date for submission of abstract is August 15, 2015
