Dear McLeod Health,
I am Madison Moore and I am writing this letter because I am interested in a
job opening you have posted on your website. The job position is for a
Certified Nursing Assistant on the Medical/Surgical floor in Womens
Consideration Services. I heard about applying for the job posted at Loris
Hospital from Regina Holmes, NP and Sandy Moore, LPN.
I am a Certified Nursing Assistant, I got my CNA on April 15, 2015. I am
currently working on getting my high school diploma. I am a senior at the
Academy for Technology and Academics, but I graduate from Conway High
School on June 3, 2015. I have always been an honor roll student and I have
never failed a class. I am a member in the Beta Club at Conway High School,
and a member in National Honor Society at the Academy for Technology and
Academics.
The job descriptions states, Bathing, taking vital signs, help with ambulating
or feeding, and other related duties as needed. This past semester I
completed a 44 hour internship at Kingston Nursing Center as a qualification
to be able to take my Certified Nursing Assistant. While I was at Kingston I
practiced all of the above skills. I know that I am not a master at all of the
skills and I do not know exactly how to do everything or work all of the
technology, but I am willing to work on what I am the weakest at and I am all
for learning new things.
