why I chose Human factor psychologist

I chose this field because anything with machines, the creating or


programming of them intrigues me and I wanted to see what a human factor
psychologist did.

It looked boring but after I started researching I found some really amazing
things like genetic engineering.

Educating or training required for

There are some entry level opportunities available to those with a bachelor
degree, but most careers in brain and science cognitive psychology begin with
a masters or doctorial degree.

Psychologists with a master degree, usually have careers in human


performance research(testing how well a person who has not slept for many
hours can remember a short story). Those with master degrees also might be
hired for a teaching positions

most psychologists with a doctorial degree in brain science and cognition


teach and conduct research in academies.

Who you most likely will be working for

most of the work of master level professionals will be supervised by a


doctoral level psychologist.

Some doctorial level human factor psychologists work for the Navy in
providing staff assistance related to human performance.

since you also have a engineering degree you could also go into programming
and work for computer companies.
