Planning for the Pride

Alex Chen & Graeme Clarks Message

Starting high school for us was like being given a blank canvas - we
could do anything with the four years that lay ahead. We had all of
the colours and brushes laid out in front of us, but how we combined
them was what would paint the picture and ultimately determine
who we became as people. Lambrick Park was the perfect mixing
pot for our creations, giving us all the options and opportunities we
needed to succeed and lourish as both students and young adults.
But just like paint is luid, so is your path. What you imagine in grade
9 is not set in stone! For instance, the two of us werent even friends
in those early years. Moreover, neither of us participated in many
school events or initiatives. As the years passed, we became more
inspired and involved which helped us build the great friendship we
have today!
Maybe your high school experience wont be exactly what you pictured, but that is what makes it exciting. What matters in the end
is how your brushstrokes combine to form your future. But dont
stress the small mistakes because what makes art beautiful are the
perfect imperfections.
