The purpose of this Glog is to present basic information on insects to a seventh grade
biology class. The students will be able to access multiple websites through the Glog to see what
insects are, how they are made up anatomically, how they can be a career field and how other
cultures interact with them. I believe that this is an appropriate way to approach this lesson
because it allows the students to explore basic information on their own. It is an introductory
lesson, so only the basics will be taught during the class period. This activity addresses UDL
through the text and pictures on the Glog itself. Also, the links to other sites include videos with
audio as well as multiple pictures and information that is presented at multiple levels.
