Assignment is something you don’t know and have to find
out about, so you HAVE TO copy but inform everybody
about your source. (see reference section).
• Lecturer can give VERY low marks on student’s
assignment which students copy without reading, student’s
also tarak paham, lecturer llaaaagi tarak pahamlah.
Synopsis / Abstact
• Synopsis contain in not more that 300
words about what the assignment is about,
any methodology or a briefing about the
assignment content and finally the result or
conclusion. DON’T COPY part of the
Introduction and paste directly because
memang sah le!!! Yang tu bukan abstrak
• Contents
– Explanation, Diverse References, Quotation,
Creativity ,Tables/Charts / Student’s own
comprehension on the chosen topics are some of
the criteria used for assessments.
– Table contents doesn’t tally with real contents.
• Conclusion / Recommendation / Abstracts are things
done after the entire assignment is done, so its not
logical for students to copy these things “awal-awal.”
So 3 line orang kedai kopi conclusions like
- “setelah membuat tugasan ini saya lebih memahami
penggunaan teknologi dalam memajukan kemampuan
komputer pada masa kini.” are just plain WEAK.
- Don’t do conclusions when you are unable to
conclude what you have just done.
References
• References format is as below
Author.Year.”title”.publisher.pg number.
• Students must sincerely use all references that
they put in the reference section. Eg
• According to Boylestad(1990) it is “imperative for
…class A Amplifiers to have dc supply ”. This is
because the output… …needs half of the Vcc
supply.(Klein,1995)
