Content of Lesson:
A. Introduction-

Read over foci with the class.


B. Development-

Step 1: Tell students that they are going to be continuing to write their prayer
of thanks about the weather. What should we do when we are publishing?
Step 2: start to publish an example of a prayer of thanks but miss a word from
the draft. Re-read as a class, does that make sense? Have I forgotten to do
something?
Step 3: Re-read the prayer and make sure it makes sense.
C. Consolidation and Practice (4 to 6 steps)

Students are sent off to their tables to finish off writing publishing their work. if
they finish early they can draw a picture to match their prayer.
Closure 5 mins
Students will come together on the floor, some students will be chosen to read
out their prayer about the weather.
