In this document I have included a range of assessment techniques that I have both used on placements and in
below this text box is two examples of how I have used assessment on placements. First is an assessment che
the lesson over multiple lessons, focusing on a few students at a time. I also used this assessment grid to take
collected from the students.
Second is an assessment grid that I used on a different placement. This type of assessment was useful when w
when focusing on specific tables. This form of assessment allowed me to take more extensive notes.

These are some of the ways in which I have used assessment in my teaching. From the data collected over ma
future learning as I could see what students did or did not know and what they needed to work on.

Therefore, these images show how I have demonstrated focus area 5.1 as I have assessed student learning. It a
focus area 5.3 as I have used assessment criteria which allows even and comparable marking. In addition to th
focus area 5.4 as I have interpreted work samples to fit a set criteria so that I could determine whether student
outcomes.
