Scholars. All of these organizations have made me the person | am today. 1am responsible, respectful, hardworking, kind, generous, and have become a strong leader. Being in FFA has helped me become a strong leader. Since | have been an officer for the past two years, | have had to become a leader for about 150 members. To help me become a strong leader, good communicator and be more outgoing, | have participated in many competitions. Most recently, | have competed on the national competing parliamentary procedure team and the state agriscience fair where | took second in the state with my research project. | will be attending Michigan State University in the fall where | will study animal science as my pre-veterinary major. | enrolled in a Biology- Botany class my freshman year of high school. In this class | had to learn about plants and how to properly care for them. | enjoyed this class while caring for plants and in knowing | ‘was helping provide for my local food pantry. | also helped and stil help plant and tend the garden that my family grows. | know what it takes to make sure that plants are healthy and thriving | am applying for this job opportunity so that | can become more involved in the community and help make a difference, | also would like a paying job to help offset the costs of college. My financial aid came back and | need to find a way to help pay for college. | was hoping this job could help me in that aspect while also widening my horizons by getting more involved and helping others. | believe that 2 community garden could help bring a community together and help grow fresh produce for people in that community Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule and | look forward to hearing a reply.
