To Whom this May Concern:

It is a pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for one of the finest
students in our elementary education program, Jaeda Kom. Having known
her since she was a freshman at Chaminade University, I have been greatly
impressed with her academic ability, creativity and dedication to the
teaching profession. She is a truly remarkable person who would be an asset
to any school.
As her teacher in three classes, I have gotten to know Jaeda well. I have
admired her thoughtful participation in class discussions, her ability to
complete all assignments with the highest quality, while never being absent
or tardy. Moreover, she does all this with a smile; she is consistently positive
and brings a quiet, joyful spirit to the classroom. Jaeda supported her
classmates, always encouraging them by the example she set, and I feel
sure she will also do this with the children in her own classrooms and with
fellow teachers in any school.
Another trait I think you will see in Jaeda is her maturity and ability to stay
calm and focused, regardless of pressures around her. Parents would be
happy to know she is the teacher of their children. She is always open to
constructive feedback. When extra learning opportunities arose, such as
service learning projects, Jaeda willingly participated and she has found
many ways to connect with children from Micronesia.
Jaeda Kom is a truly outstanding educator who will continue to grow in her
chosen profession for years to come. If I can be of further assistance in
