What were the significant learning points for you in this seminar? This is the third time I have participated in the EQ presentation with Hope Murray over the past ten years at DTCC. It is a standout to me that each time I attend this session, I pick up on additional opportunities to reflect on my behaviors and actions and the growth I have developed with experience. This activity allows one to identify their leadership and personal traits and provides guidance on how one might develop positive goals to interact with others and address personal situations. 2. In what ways is each learning point supportive of or relevant to your ideas about leadership? -Treating people with respect, dignity and fairness by maintaining open mindedness and communication. -Communications and decisions will exhibit highest standard of integrity affording all parties the opportunity to have open and honest dialogue and feedback. - Persistence to be more effective in communication, campus and college involvement, and program development to meet the needs of the organization. -Is able to see the "Big Picture" -Is a decision maker. -Have excellent team management skills. 3. Identify a way to apply each of these learning points to your current role at the College. It provides review of the fundamental elements of listening, reacting, and delivering spoken and unspoken responses.
