The visitor statistics of the fair have proved that there has been an increase of visitors coming from Europe, Russia and the Turkish Republics. The participants of the fair have stated that they have increased the amount of their business agreements and thus AYMOD has been very successful Various products have been displayed at AYMOD, varying from platform heal shoes to ballerina shoes and sports shoes to boots. Functional products have also been displayed at AYMOD. Comfortable based shoes, innovative products for diabetic patients and pregnant women have also caught great attention at AYMOD. 48" AYMOD-Istanbul International Footwear Fashion Fair which is the biggest in Turkey and the 3" largest in Europe took place with great success between 7~ 10 November at CNR EXPO. AYMOD, whereby there has been a great increase in new business agreements, was organized by Pozitif Fuarcilik A.S., an affiliate of CNR Holding, with the support of; TASEV (Turkish Footwear Industry Sector Research, Development and Education Foundation), TASD (Footwear industrialists Association of Turkey), TUAF (Federation of the Turkish Footwear Manufacturers), IAESO (Istanbul Chamber of Footwear Tradesmen and Manufacturers) and KOSGEB (Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and, Industry Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization) 48" AYMOD-Istanbul International Footwear Fashion Fair, has attracted in total approximately 40 thousand visitors whereby more than 3 thousand being foreigners. There were more than 360 participants from Turkey and abroad to the fair which brought together the Turkish shoe industry with the global players in the market, Companies from Spain, Italy, Germany, India, Greece, Pakistan, Portugal, Ukraine and mainly Turkey have displayed their products at AYMOD. Business Volume Has Multiplied at AYMOD AYMOD which was organized in a space of 60 square meters, has attracted many purchase group visitors from Europe, Balkans, Middle East, North Africa and Russia. There was an increase in the number of visitors compared to the previous fair. Participant companies have stated that they have conoluded various business agreements with foreign visitors. The participant companies’ executives, that have conducted very successful business negotiations with buyers coming especially from Europe, Russia and Turkish Republics, have stated that there has been a tremendous increase in the number of visitors coming from these regions.
