The unique, flexible shape of Sof-Lex spiral wheels easily adapts

to the contours of a tooth surface - even if the tooth is irregular, concave or
convex in shape such that switching between
points, cups, discs and brushes is unnecessary. Sof-Lex discs, strips and
spiral wheels are colour-coded from dark (coarse) to light (superfine) for an
easily followed step-by-step process. The discs have two sizes for a variety of
needs -13mm (1/2 inch) or 9mm (3/8 inch).

This Mandril acts as an axial to hold various polishing tips. It is used for
finishing and polishing of composite restorations, enamel surfaces and
removal of excess cements.
The user determines surface quality and the grade of polishing by altering
contact pressure.
Always polish with light pressure to minimize heat generation. It can be
sterilized in autoclave. Other methods may damage
instrument.Recommended speed varies for different polishing tips.
