Jupiler , brewed by Piedboeuf Brewery in Jupille-sur-Meuse,
Belgium. Jupiler is the biggest-selling beer in Belgium,
pale lager. It is made from malt, maize (corn), water, hops and

the abbey, monks handcrafted their own beer according to the

Recipes are quite often handed down through the generations
and have some evolution into modern style beers. Artisan
beers are usually high fermentation beers.

Originally, the Breendonck brewer used to give his brand
new beer to the town baker to taste. “Devil” or Duvel in
Antwerp province dialect… innocent and beguiling at first,

Created in 1791 by Pauwel Kwak, who owned a hotel in the
small town of Brabant. His beer is famous all over the world,
and has always been made with double high fermentation.

and full bodied. Forbidden Fruit is brewed with roasted malt,

Delirium Tremens 330ml 16.00
Bottle conditioned , bright golden colour , dense head, unique
taste of a strong pale ale is created by the use of three different
yeasts along with both Saaz and Styrian hops. The beer has
a very fruity (gooseberry) bouquet, sweetish palate and

Brewed using barley, wheat and oats, both raw and malted,
Karmeliet has great finesse and complexity. Bottle
conditioned , bright golden/bronze colour, a dense creamy
head , very fruity bouquet , sweetish palate with warming

This ‘barley wine’ style beer is in a class of it’s own, rich,
glowing and full of its own distinctive characteristics. Dark
red in colour , caramel coloured head , full bodied with hints
of chocolate, caramel and alcohol. The finish is long and bitter

Abby Beers

Lambic Beers
Pajottenland area around Brussels. Wild yeasts in the
Senne Valley air would get into the wort and provoke
spontaneous fermentation, true Lambic is still produced
only in this area, on the basis of 30% wheat and often with
the addition of local fruits

Founded in 1781, the Timmermans brewery in Itterbeek
add whole raspberries to lambic maturing in oak barrels
to create Framboise. This beer is delicate pink in colour,
with an intense berry aroma, a refined taste and smooth
