Found Poem

Reflective Paragraph: I chose this piece of writing because of the strong tone
presented. My favorite lines were Property,possessions and
riches,trapped,no longer a game nor a toy,a chain and burden, a strange and
twisted path,the game of dice. From the flow,word to word, I believe there is
a deep message being revealed to the reader. From reading this poem the
reader will become conscious of the effect gambling has on people, like
Siddhartha. They will also gain a sense of how dark and melancholic of a
place Siddhartha was in when he had an obsession with wealth and
gambling.
Once upon a Nightmare
Property,possessions and riches
Trapped
No longer a game nor a toy
A chain and burden
A strange and twisted path
The game of dice
Money and jewels with an increasing fervor
Custom of the ordinary people
Stakes were towering and reckless
Few dared to play
Heartfelt need
Passion,pleasure
Gambling away
