discussed. The project should also include various raw materials available and their
selection over others. The various process parameters to be maintained are to be
discussed. The study also involves the washing of pulp and bleaching. The various
bleaching process and their choice over others need to be studied in detail. The
chemical recovery from the black liquor and its disposal methods are essential. The
various additives added to the pulp to enhance the properties are to be taken care
of. The energy requirement for cooking the raw material and design of digesters
are to be done. The effluent treatment methods to meet the discharge are to be
studied.
Prepare a design report consisting of the following:1. Literature survey.
