Soil In order to prepare our soil we are going to use the sheet mulching method. We collected cardboard and coffee grounds. We also have access to wood chips at school. We started by pulling up some of the weeds in our selected area. This allowed us to mark out the area we will turn into a garden. Next we laid down the cardboard and put coffee grounds and wood chips on top. We then sprayed it with water. We will continue to build up the layers of this material.
