Primary Sources: Images of aqueducts, the Pantheon, the Colosseum Secondary Sources: non-fiction informational books provided in the library

- In conjunction with their informal notes to share writing, students will be with their group presenting the poster, - Formal writing will be PowerPoint, or video to displayed through a classmates in small group poster, PowerPoint rotations. project, or video (with script) - Note-taking will also occur as students are listening to classmates presentations Accommodations: Every 6th grade student has received a Lexile reading score through AIMSWEB testing and for this project have been grouped by reading levels. The groups with lower-level reading scores will receive additional support from a para-professional during the inclusion classes. Evidence of Proficiency (What does success look like?): Success on the Ancient Rome Extravaganza is shown through knowledge and understanding of how the accomplishments of Ancient Rome impact our world today.
